This plug is a part of the shift extension on both smooth case and rib case shift extensions – see the diagram in this listing for exact location. This is the plug at 8 o’clock on the backside of the shift extension that holds the plunger and plunger spring from our shift therapy kit in place and is often missing from the transmission This is a used component removed from surplus shift towers and comes with the adjoining copper washer, also used.
